Vestibular Rehabilitation

Targeted maneuvers designed to reduce dizziness and improve balance.

The vestibular system plays a crucial role in maintaining balance, stabilizing your vision, and helping with spatial orientation. When this system is disrupted by inflammation or injury, it can lead to symptoms like vertigo, dizziness, migraines, brain fog, and more.

Many individuals with vestibular disorders try to avoid rapid head movements to prevent symptom flare-ups, which can sometimes lead to additional issues like cervical spine pain.

Vestibular rehabilitation focuses on alleviating these symptoms and restoring normal function. Your physiotherapist may use targeted maneuvers designed to reduce dizziness and improve balance. The treatment goals typically include:

  • Regaining balance through specific training
  • Stabilizing gaze to prevent dizziness
  • Improving cervical spine range of motion

Let CW Physio’s help you manage and recover from vestibular conditions, so you can feel steady and confident again.
