Meet the Physios.
Qualification: Bachelor of Physiotherapy at UKZN, 2011.
Special Interests: Women’s and Pelvic Health Rehabilitation, Shoulder Rehabilitation.
Work History: Demi worked in government for a few years after qualifying where she gained valuable experience in many different areas of physiotherapy. Once moving into private practice, she began her journey into her true passion and special interest in women’s and pelvic health physiotherapy. She the proud owner and partner with Tracey-Lee Duplessis of CW Physios Inc.
Personal Interest: Oil Painting and Yoga.
Qualifications: BSc Physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University, 1983.
Special interests: Alternative therapies, Orthopaedic rehabilitation, Animal physiotherapy, Craniosacral Therapy, as well as Be Activated.
Work History: Retha has worked in a hospital and outpatient setting most of her life on the West Rand as well as Bredasdorp Western Cape. She considers herself blessed to have had such a long working career helping patients recover and making a difference in people’s lives. Retha has a big heart and compassion for her patients. Her many years of experience has taught her that you never too old to learn.
Personal interest: Music, Singing, animals and family time.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of KwaZulu Natal 2019 (Cum Laude).
Special interests: Paediatrics, Neonatal ICU & Post-Operative Rehabilitation.
Work History: Bailey completed her Community Service at Umgeni Specialized Psychiatric Hospital in 2020. During this time she completed her level 1 and 2 dry needling courses and is an accredited PhysioFun Therapist. She joined CW Physio’s Inc. in January 2021 and has established a great paediatric patient referral base through her calm and caring nature.
Personal interest: Hiking, playing guitar, gym and reading.
Qualification: Bachelor of Physiotherapy at UKZN, 2009.
Special Interests: Women’s and Pelvic Health Rehabilitation and Neurological Rehabilitation.
Work History: Rosanne has worked in private practice for the last 15 years after qualifying, she gained valuable experience in many different areas. She loves getting patients to be the best versions of themselves, functionally.
Personal Interests: Spending time with her little family and traveling.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of KwaZulu Natal, 2020.
Special interests: Women’s Health, Paediatric Chest Conditions, and Sports Related Injuries.
Work History: Danielle completed community service in 2021 at a small government hospital in Gauteng. She attended to a diverse range of in hospital and outpatient conditions where she focused on community outreach programs. In 2022, Danielle joined our Hillcrest team contributing and growing together with our team the women’s and pelvic health scope of practice.
Personal interests: Gym, ballroom dancing, calligraphy, painting and camping.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Physiotherapy at UKZN 2019.
Special interests: Vestibular Physiotherapy and Acute Trauma.
Work History: Tash did her community service in Pietermaritzburg and afterwards went on to work for a private practice based in Pietermaritzburg. Here she was first exposed to vestibular rehab. She later joined CW Physios in 2022 and has grown exponentially in the field of vestibular rehabilitation.
Personal interests: spending time with family and drawing.
Qualification: Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at UFS (2021).
Special Interests: Post-op Knee and Ankle Rehabilitation, Biomechanics.
Work History: After qualifying in 2021, Jami enjoyed his time working as a community service physiotherapist in Harrismith and its surrounding areas. He continued his passion in private practice focussing on out-patient care and sports rehabilitation in the Durban North area. Jami joined CW Physios in 2023 and continues to share his passion and love for physiotherapy with our dynamic team and patients. When he gets the chance, you will find him next to the sports field assisting teams with injuries and strapping.
Personal Interest: Cooking and playing rugby.
Qualification: Bachelors of Physiotherapy from the University of Pretoria in 2022.
Special interest: Musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Adult neurological rehabilitation.
Work history: Nonhlanhla completed her community service in rural KwaZulu-Natal, Dundee. She joined CW Physio’s Inc in 2024 and has been an integral part of our Howick team.
Personal interests: Dancing
Qualification: Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Pretoria, 2021.
Special interests: Sports, strength and conditioning, and Cardiothoracic Rehabilitation.
Work History: Alex completed his community service year at Steve Biko Academic Hospital where he was exposed to multiple different fields of physiotherapy, including but not limited to orthopaedic, paediatric, neurological, neurosurgical, and cardiothoracic surgery. He started at CW Physio’s in 2023 and has since been able to get further valuable experience in sports medicine and hospital-based care.
Personal Interests: Endurance running and research reviewing.
Qualification: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (University of KwaZulu-Natal, 2022).
Special Interests: Cardiopulmonary and Neuro Rehabilitation.
Work history: Nompilo earned her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in 2022 from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, graduating as the “Best Clinical Student” of the physiotherapy class in 2022. She is a visionary with high ambitions, driven by a desire to better society and assist humanity. Her passion for physiotherapy stems from her love of helping people regain their normal functions or perform at their best.
Personal Interests: In her free time, Nompilo enjoys reading and running.
Qualification: Bachelor of Physiotherapy at UCT in 2022.
Special interest: Neurorehabilitation and Sports rehabilitation.
Work history: Tracy worked in government for a year for community service after qualification and moved into private joining CW Physios in 2024, where she kicks off her journey to discovering her passion.
Personal interest: Travel and nature.
Qualification: Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University pf the Free State 2023.
Special interests: Paediatrics and sports rehabilitation.
Work history: Jane Recently finished her community service year in Victoria West where she gained valuable experience in musculoskeletal injuries. Joining CW Physio’s in 2025 she recently started specialising in her true passion which is paediatrics.
Personal Interest: Pilates and reading.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Pretoria 2023.
Special interests: Sport, orthopaedics and pharmacotherapy within physiotherapy.
Work History: Jonathan completed his community service in Adelaide, Eastern Cape where he learnt valuable lessons on how to be an effective physiotherapist with limited resources. Jonathan joined CW Physio’s in 2025 and showing great potential in his special interests.
Personal Interests: Programming, watching and playing sports.

TRACEY-LEE DUPLESSIS Owner of CW Physio’s Inc and Senior Physiotherapist.Special interests: Paediatrics, Neuro Rehabilitation (Adult and Paediatrics), Neonatal ICU and Hydrotherapy.
Work History: Tracey worked in government for a few years after qualifying. Here she gained valuable experience and her love for paediatrics and neuro rehabilitation began. Once moving to private practice, she further specialized into the field of paediatrics and offers services at both the Hillcrest, PMB and Howick branches of CW Physio’s Inc. Tracey is the proud owner and partner with Demi Humphries at CW Physio’s Inc.
Personal interest: Running, hiking and spending time with her beautiful family.
